For the most detailed training service available, Elevated Canine Bakersfield offers exclusive board & train programs that are highly effective, and show much faster results than solely attending in-person training. Typically, dog owners are able to enjoy their canine companions in a matter of weeks versus months of training trying to do it themselves with much greater results.
Our process is simple, save your time and let us train your dog first and we’ll show you how to simply maintain all the results afterwards. Unlike most, owner education is our number one priority so not only will we help train your dog, we’ll also train you the dog’s owner.
Our board and train program is convenient and perfect for those owners who want help training their dog, but feel as if they lack the time, patience, and the ability to do it themselves. We use proven training methods to help smooth out mild – severe behavior problems, and assist your dog in learning the most important skills necessary to make their life and your life much easier.
JUMPSTART PROGRAM
During this four week board and train program your canine companion will come stay with us in a structured environment for an immersive learning experience. This allows us as dog trainers to jump start your dog’s training and work intimately with them teaching the most important life skills, on-leash obedience, manners, healthy habits and routines, as well as a very clear communication system that we’ll transfer over to you afterwards.
This unique program is ideal for those dogs who lack any previous foundation training, or for more experienced dogs who may need to fine tune their past or current training. In addition, we’ll also work towards having a much calmer, confident dog who listens better and walks on the leash without pulling you down the street.

BEHAVIOR PROGRAM
This five week program includes all of the benefits of our jumpstart program that is listed above, in addition it’s specifically geared towards those dogs who may suffer from mild through severe anxiety, reactivity, or any type of aggressive behavior thats directed towards people or other dogs.
In this program we’ll dive into more focused dog training, solid obedience, behavior modification, and a more thorough social conditioning process thats needed for these type of dogs. The end result will be a dog who is more confident, stable, more controllable, less aggressive, and less of a liability for their owners.
Please be advised that dogs who suffer from more extreme symptoms might require an extended stay beyond five weeks as it takes longer to work with those type of dogs. An in-person evaluation is required for all dogs.
