For the most detailed dog training available in Bakersfield, We at Elevated Canine proudly offer all inclusive board & train programs that are highly effective, and show much quicker results than solely attending in-person training, trying to do it yourself at home. Typically, dog owners are able to enjoy their canine companions in a matter of weeks versus months of training with much greater, lasting results. Utilizing modern dog training techniques, we strive to create a positive, impactful, and lasting change in your canine companion’s behavior.
Our board and train program is convenient and perfect for those owners who want help training their dog, but feel as if they lack the patience, time, and the ability to do it themselves. We use proven techniques to help smooth out mild – severe behavior problems, and assist your dog in learning the most important skills necessary to make their life and your life so much easier.
Rate per week for board & train starts at $1000. Customized plans up to 8 weeks are available to suit your dog’s temperament and overall needs.
During this four week board and train program your dog will come stay with us in a structured home environment for an immersive learning experience. This allows us as professional dog trainers to jumpstart your dog’s training for you and work intimately with them by teaching the most important life skills that they need such as; manners, healthy habits and routines, impulse control, environmental exposure, recall training, reliable obedience training, distraction training, and a clear communication system that we will transfer over to you after your dog’s stay with us.
This program is highly recommended for those dogs who lack any previous foundation training, or for more experienced canine’s who may need to fine tune their past or their current training. In addition, we will also work towards having a much calmer, confident dog who listens better. This is an ideal program for anyone who wants their dog trained to an even greater standard.
Please be advised that this program can range between a 4 – 6 week stay depending on your individual dog and the severity of their issues. We’ll make the appropriate recommendations during our evaluation.
This eight week premium program includes all of the benefits of our preferred program above in addition we’ll also dive into more advanced training, off the leash obedience, and an added proofing period which allows your dog to solidify their new training skills with a more thorough generalization and exposure process.
The end result will be a dog who is adjusted to a wide variety of situations, who can also perform and be reliable under varied circumstances. This is the highest level of training that we offer and is ideal for dog owners who want the ultimate control both at home and out in public. We also recommend this program for mature, mentally stable dogs who will work as a therapy or service dog in the future. Please note that this program does not teach any task training.
